1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to vanguardoasis.com (the “Website”). The Website is owned and operated by Vanguard Oasis IT Services LLC, a company registered in Sharjah Media City (Shams), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, under trade license number 2325856.01 (“Vanguard Oasis”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set out the rules for accessing and using the Website. By using it, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t continue using the site.
We are a UAE-based IT services and solutions provider. These Terms apply to the Website only. Any work we do for you is covered by a separate written agreement, as explained in section 4.
2. Use of This Website
When you use the Website, please don’t:
- use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaches UAE federal or local law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Rumours and Cybercrimes;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the Website, our servers or any connected systems;
- upload viruses, malware or anything else designed to cause harm;
- scrape, copy, republish or commercially exploit our content without our written permission;
- pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent who you are or who you work for; or
- interfere with the way the Website runs, or with the servers and networks behind it.
If you contact us through the Website, whether by contact form, consultation booking or email, please make sure the details you give us are accurate and up to date. We use them to respond to you, as explained in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or block access to the Website if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
3. Intellectual Property
Everything on the Website belongs to us or is licensed to us. That includes the text, graphics, logos, icons, the Vanguard Oasis name and marks, the page layout, and the underlying design and code. It is protected under UAE and international intellectual property law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights and Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021 on Trademarks.
You’re welcome to view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference. Reproducing, distributing, modifying, publicly displaying or building on any part of the Website without our written consent isn’t allowed.
Names and logos of technology vendors and partners shown on the Website belong to their respective owners and appear only to describe our work and relationships.
4. Service Descriptions & Disclaimers
The service and solution descriptions, case studies, indicative pricing and other content on the Website are general information only. Nothing on the Website is a binding offer, quotation or contract. If you engage us, the scope, deliverables, fees and timelines are set out in a signed proposal, statement of work or services agreement, and that document takes precedence over anything on the Website.
Our core services are software development, digital transformation, IT resource augmentation, and IT operations and security. They are delivered by our dedicated team, mainly in Sri Lanka and managed by Vanguard Oasis, and in some cases by specialist partners. Some solutions, including software licensing, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI, are delivered or coordinated through implementation or distribution partners.
The Website and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no promises, express or implied, about its accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose, and we can’t guarantee that it will always be available, secure or free of errors.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by UAE law, Vanguard Oasis will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross error, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UAE law.
You agree to indemnify Vanguard Oasis and our officers, employees and agents against claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable expenses, including legal fees, that arise from your misuse of the Website or your breach of these Terms.
6. Third-Party Links & Partners
The Website may link to or embed third-party sites and tools, such as social media platforms, video-conferencing services and the scheduling tool we use for bookings. The Website also names technology and delivery partners (see the Partner Network page).
We don’t own or control these third parties and aren’t responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Once you use a third-party service or are referred to a partner, that party’s own terms and policies apply. Naming a partner does not mean the partner endorses the Website or is responsible for anything on it.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah, including Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services.
Any dispute connected with these Terms or the Website is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Emirate of Sharjah, without affecting any mandatory rights you may have under UAE law.
These Terms are written in English. If a court or authority requires an Arabic version, we will provide an official translation, and the English text will be the reference version unless the law requires otherwise.
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, we will limit or remove that part as little as possible and the rest will continue to apply.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, our business or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. If you keep using the Website after an update takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
