Common questions
Who owns the code?
You do. Once the final payment is made, the code and content are yours, and we hand everything over at the end of the project. We sign an NDA before starting, do not retain your data after the project, and can confirm this in writing.
Where is my site hosted?
Your site is hosted with a reputable commercial hosting provider. You can choose to have us manage the hosting or hold the hosting account yourself.
If we manage the hosting, you receive a WordPress login while we retain an admin account for maintenance and updates. You can request a copy of your site or have your domain transferred at any time.
If you manage the hosting, we set up the domain, hosting and email accounts in your name, and you can revoke our access whenever you wish. This option costs more. Either way, your domain is always registered in your name.
How long does a first version take?
Most projects take 4 to 6 weeks to deliver a first version, depending on the requirements and complexity. Once we agree on the scope, we confirm the timeline in writing before you commit.
Can I pay in stages?
Yes. Our standard payment terms are split into three stages:
- at the start of the project,
- when the version is ready for your testing and approval, and
- at launch.
We confirm the payment amounts before work begins.
