AssetTracker

One dashboard for every device, license, and subscription

AssetTracker is an IT and software asset management platform we designed and built for a client in the technology services industry, so their team could finally see what the organization owned and paid for in one place, without naming the client here.

Client Project

Technology services industry, client unnamed

Subscription SaaS

Built as an ongoing platform, not a one-off tool

AI-Assisted Build

Delivered under our software development service

Live

Onboarding its first departments now

The Challenge

Nobody could see the full picture

The client's team was tracking laptops, software licenses, and SaaS subscriptions across a mix of spreadsheets and vendor portals, with no single place to see what the organization actually owned or was paying for. Renewals slipped through the cracks, and answering a simple question like "what are we spending on software this quarter" meant pulling numbers from half a dozen places by hand.

What We Built

Everything in one place, synced automatically

  • R
Devices, software licenses, and SaaS subscriptions in one dashboard, instead of three.
  • R
Natural-language chat for querying spend, so answering “what are we paying for X” doesn't need a spreadsheet.
  • R
An AI widget builder that turns a plain-language description into a custom dashboard view.
  • R
Direct sync with Microsoft 365 for devices and licenses, and QuickBooks and Dynamics 365 for the financial side.
  • R
Microsoft SSO and department-level cost allocation, so spend maps to who's actually using it.
  • R
Bank-grade encryption, executive-level access controls, a full audit trail, and fully isolated per-organization data.

What's Coming

Usage and consumption intelligence

The next phase on the roadmap is live monitoring of AI tool usage, cloud spend across the major providers, seat waste detection, and spend anomaly alerts, so the platform doesn't just show what's being paid for today, it flags what shouldn't be.

Where Things Stand

Live, and rolling out department by department

The platform is live and onboarding its first departments now. We'll add real numbers here, spend visibility, renewals caught, time saved, once we've got a full quarter of data behind it, rather than lead with estimates.
